The Northwest Michigan Supportive Housing works to end homelessness by providing permanent supportive housing for individuals and families who struggle with mental illness in the Greater Traverse Region.  NMSH pairs affordable rental housing with supportive services to help households overcome barriers related to maintaining and sustaining their housing.

Currently, NMSH serves 5 counties (Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Kalkaska, Benzie and Antrim), owns 4 properties (3 Mile, Titus St., Fair St., and 12th St.), is the general partner for 2 tax credit properties (Woodmere Ridge and Bay Front) and contracts with nearly 40 landlords in the area to secure the “housing” in “supportive housing”.
